A little good news?

Quite appropriate for a Monday...or for the state of our community/country... or even for the world in general...here's wishing and hoping for World Peace


Nobody was assassinated in the whole Third World today
And in the hills of Gaza, all the children had to do was play
And everybody loves everybody in the good old USA
We sure could use a little good news today

Another year

One year and eleven days ago I told myself:
"This new year,
Let me not envy what I don't have,
Let me cherish what I have,
And be comfortable with who I am and what I stand for"

I can't say for sure that I've managed to do all of that so there's definitely room for further improvement (in other words...i didn't achieve my last year's resolutions).

Oh well, I got another year to do it and I'll add two more lines to it:
"Let me see the situation from your eyes
And let me listen to what you want me to hear"

As for the workload, bumps and challenges in this coming year ahead...

Many nights we prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood
